The addressed site is located in the city Martin, an old-school nursery object that is not currently used and is in a devastated condition. The potential is the neighborhood in which the blocks of flats are located. My intention was to reuse this property, to revitalize the land and the building by inserting new functions. It is appropriate to create a leisure sport center for many young people living in the surrounding area, looking for the activities after a school.
However, in such an assignment, space requires a multipurpose hall, what I placed on an unused roof. The main goal was to preserve the characteristic look of the existing building, as well as the materials and shape; and a new mass to differentiate in the way that this is new here. The hall is therefore offset from the original building, but at the same time it is raised so the air gap came into the objects. It is a sophisticated articulation of the original with the new one. The value of the original building is preserved, but there is also a progressive solution of the new sections. In the outdoor areas is created a skate park.
